GroundLevel collaborated with Delawie to design this new boutique hotel offering by J Street Hospitality, set on the historic grounds of the former Villa Capri Hotel. Nestled along bustling Orange Avenue and across from the iconic Hotel del Coronado, the property enjoys a prime location adjacent to scenic Glorietta Bay.

Paying tribute to its legacy, The Bower thoughtfully repurposes original signage from the Villa Capri, weaving history into its modern coastal charm. At the heart of the hotel lies an intimate interior courtyard—a quiet retreat for guests—while above, The Dive, Coronado’s only rooftop bar and restaurant, offers a vibrant social hub with sweeping views of the Coronado skyline and the Pacific Ocean. A breezy, open-air ambiance and the glow of the setting sun make this rooftop a signature experience that captures the spirit of Southern California leisure.
