As a young artist in Puerto Rico Daniel painted the stories from his past. Today, with nearly a decade of design experience, he strives to inspire the stories of our future. It is a dance, really. A merengue between art and design that articulate the built environments we love. It is from this perspective that he approached designing for resiliency in Indonesia, designing for hospitality and living in North and South America, and designing for the public throughout Appalachia. Outside of the studio Daniel collects memories through travel and urban sketching—completely fueled entirely by cafecito Cubano.
